Counsellor & Specialist Couples Therapist

About me

Therapy, at its heart, is about relationship—how we relate to others, to the world, and to ourselves. I offer a space that is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in deep listening. My work is shaped by a belief in your innate capacity to heal, grow, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a secondary art teacher—drawn to creativity, emotion, and expression. Now in my 50s, I’m still guided by that same vision: to help people give voice to the parts of themselves that have been silenced or unseen. That desire to make space for what’s tender, complex, or emerging continues to shape my approach to therapy.

As a highly sensitive and independently minded person, I understand what it’s like to move through the world feeling different. My own experiences have taught me the importance of safe, validating spaces—especially when you're trying to express your truth or heal old wounds. I bring this awareness into every therapeutic relationship.

Clients often come to me when something isn’t quite working anymore—when relationships feel stuck, when old patterns resurface, or when a deeper sense of self feels out of reach. Whether you’re coming as an individual or as part of a couple, therapy with me is a space to slow down, listen inwardly, and find your way forward—on your own terms, and at your own pace.

How I Work

I offer counselling and psychotherapeutic process work to adult individuals and couples. My approach is integrative, somatic, and deeply experiential. I support clients to connect with the truth of their experience—inviting attention inward, to the sensations, emotions, and patterns held in the body, as a guide to healing and self-discovery.

Therapy with me isn’t about fixing or changing who you are. It’s about becoming more of who you are. I offer a space for growth and learning, where you can explore how to show up in the world and in your relationships as a self-defined, autonomous being—able to be met in your most authentic form.
