Allison Ross (she, her)
Counsellor & Specialist Couples Therapist
Here for You—and for Your Couple
Hello and welcome. I’m Allison—a couples therapist and counsellor with over 10 years of experience supporting people through the complexities of love, connection, and personal growth.
My role is to offer a steady, compassionate presence—to help you navigate challenges, reconnect with what matters, and discover new ways of being together (or with yourself) that feel true and sustaining. Whether you're coming with a partner or on your own, this is a space where all of you is welcome.
I work gently and collaboratively, drawing from emotionally attuned, somatic, and experiential approaches to support your growth, build emotional capacity, and cultivate more meaningful communication and connection.
You are welcome here—in all your depth, tenderness, and complexity.

Couples therapy can help you to:
Communicate with dignity, clarity, and respect even when the topic is difficult!
Soften defences that are no longer helpful and learn new ways to have your say
Build secure emotional connection and a strong foundation to stand on
Repair quickly, with shared values and compassion, focusing on what matters most
Cultivate intimacy and trust and feel truly known by one another
Clarify your vision for your future and the partners you wish to become
Embrace conflict as an opportunity for growth via negotiation and agreement
Experience yourselves as being on the same team
Step into new relational patterns with confidence and care
“A great [intimate partnership] is not when the ‘perfect couple’ come together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy [and work with] their differences.”
—Dave Meurer.
